Food Storage Ideas

I just taught a class tonight at church,  It was fun and went well.  I gave everyone a food storage plan that included items to store and recipes to use.  Food storage can be hard or you can make it easy.  It just takes planning.  So here is my   Food Storage Plan.  Go and Check them out.  I also left some of  the months with out recipies because I wanted the sisters to know that they could come up with thier own recipes.  I asked all the sisters to submit recipes that they used on a monthly basis and We will send them out  via email to everyone along with the goal for that month.  I hope that sisters and families can see how important it is to have a food storage.  Another web page I love is http://everydayfoodstorage.net/  Go and check her out it is amazing what she can do!!!!

Fresh Strawberry Pie

This is what My sweet husband got for his Father's day desert!!!!  Thanks to my good friend Amelia for this yummy recipe.  It is the best!!

Fresh Strawberry Pie

2 pie cooked shells

2 packages of softened cream cheese

1 can sweet and condensed  milk

1/4 cup lemon juice

Cream all together in a mixer and then pour into pie crust.

For Topping:

2 lbs of Strawberries

1 pkg of Raspberry Junket (found at winco in the jell-o isle)

Follow the directions for glaze.  Add halved or sliced  strawberries.  Then top on each pie, and chill for at least 1 hour.  Serve and enjoy!!

Beautiful Burger Buns

I love summer BBQ's and love hambergers and hotdogs, but in our family we never seem to have the buns around or they go bad so we do not buy them often, instead we make them. I was looking around for a new recipe to try and thought that I would try this one because it looked so yummy!!! I will let you know how yummy it turns out. I among things love to sew and craft as well. I have set up an etsy account and will be adding things to my store. So while it may take a few days to get things up I thought that I would let you know I am still hear and have been extremely busy with having a new baby and all. But I hope that I am back?!!!!!
